3 THINGS I WISH I'D KNOWN WHEN I STARTED A CHURCH

When I started People's Church, I thought I was prepared. I had a clear vision of where I believed God wanted to take us, and I had a plan of how to get there.

How quickly plans change. The reality is that planting a new church is hard work, and there were many things I didn't know. Looking back, I'm very humbled and grateful for the things we got right, but there are certainly things I'd do differently if I were starting again.

In this video, I'm going to tell you the things I wish I'd known before I started pastoring:

  • That surrounding yourself with the right people can make or break your church
  • Why vision isn't enough
  • How you may be overestimating and underestimating your potential impact
  • That a church is a business (and what kind of business it is)

It's my hope that these principles will help you complete the vision God has planted in your heart for your church, and see many lives transformed through your ministry!

Remember, But God Changes Everything!
